I plan on paying for any security related products I use and expecting that those companies treat my security in a professional manner because they are getting paid to do so. One problem I have with the free options is the lack of fiduciary responsibility. I don't see where any of the other options, save KeePass, make any solid commitments to only raise prices in line with inflation or no more than 10% per year. Most of these replies don't address my core concern that future pricing is unpredictable. Happy to answer any questions you might have! LastPass is now free to sync across all your devices, so we hope you might continue with LastPass! And we will of course honor any purchases made, if you do continue with LastPass Premium and wish to pre-purchase more than one year. Still debating on whether to fork over the cash to keep the passwords syncing between machines or to seek another alternate method. I'm coming up for renewal in less than 2 weeks and have been using LastPass concurrently with Dashlane.

I had to go into the Adobe account and download and print the invoice to prove I was not embezzling $49 a month. I had a customer hold a $25,000 payment to me because Crashplan and Adobe were charging their credit card and they couldn't reconcile it. I have not found out how to control the autogenerated passwords to be compatible with websites that don't like them or make one that I can type when needed.Īnd, one of my pet peeves is that DashLane will not email the invoice each year at renewal.
It has also crashed a couple of times on my Mac. I have discovered that DashLane only shares one password at a time. It's cheaper to install a VPN than add another seat. I too use ScreenConnect but now I can't buy any more seats. They recently were bought out and hiked their price by more than 5 fold. ScreenConnect is another good example of bizarre price hikes.
